Thanks for poking around.
Currently, I’m a creative director at Innocean, upending the existing paradigms of their Chicago office. Before that, for about ten years I worked under the banner of lakespeed, problem-solving and creating cross-platform ideas for agencies and CPG companies in Chicago, New York, and SoCal.
Here’s a brief rundown of what I've been up to most recently:
You're still reading? Wow. OK. Well, between 2005 and 2007, I co-led the relaunch of gatorade.com for Tribal and wrote/directed branded content for Gatorade and Wrigley.
And before that? I was at DDB, where I was the writer behind ‘The Dell Dude’, a McDonalds International Ad of the Year, a random sampling of broadcast and interactive awards (including the first ever Titanium Lion), and new business wins that included Dell and the Illinois Lottery.
And if you really, really want to dig deep, before DDB, I was a writer at UPSHOT… a gig that was bookended by two stints as a football player and an untold number of concussions.
Outside of working with agencies, I develop entertainment properties, try to be the coolest dad ever, and struggle with an irrational love for convertible trucks built by GM between 1969 and 1972.
My 6 year old daughter Raleigh and I reside in both Chicago and Venice Beach.
